Nico Jorcino is a talented and resourceful designer, artist and skilled at the trade of Interior Architecture.
Nico's most recent and largest project has been his role as Project Manager of Plexus Contemporary, an artist studio and contemporary art space. Within a timeframe of 8 months Nico has directed every aspect of renovation from demolition to final interior design. This particular project was troublesome as the structure was a dillapidated medical clinic [photo] which required transformation into a sleek modern space fit for the production and exhibition of fine art [photo].
Life Cycle, a mixed media kenetic sculpture designed and produced by Nico Jorcino in 2006 will be on display at 21C Museum for the upcoming exhibition Tangled Up in You, opening February 2008.
Inspired by his intimate experiences as an American immigrant and his interest in architecture and urban planning, Jorcino has created a body of work in which he explores their relationship as a means of humanistic forms of art.
