Born Buenos Aires , Argentina

Nico JorcinoInspired by his intimate experiences as an American immigrant and his interest in architecture and urban planning, Jorcino has created a body of work in which he explores their relationship as a means of humanistic forms of art.

From the initial raw emotions of uprooting, fear and anxiety captured in the immediacy of action expressionistic painting , his work evolves into a progressively geometric order, manifesting his establishment in a new city and social environment. Subsequently, a new level of questions arise: the role of urbanism in shaping our reality and destinies as well as the power of architecture in influencing the psyche of the individual.
